Proof that Gender Differences in Science Achievement are Cultural.

In this article at the New York TImes "Girls Lead in Science Exam, but not in the USA" you'll  find a fantastic interactive graphic showing the results of a science test done on samples of 15 year olds in 65 different countries. The graphic shows the difference in result between boys and girls, and immediately obvious is that in most western European countries (including the UK) and the Americas boys outperform girls. However in most Asian countries, in Northern, Southern and Eastern Europe, and in the Middle East girls outperform boys. Fascinating stuff!
